Frequently asked questions

What do I need to bring?

If you are expecting to use the sauna and ice bath, please bring 2 towels and a change of clothes. Also bring a water bottle for the sauna and make sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day in the lead up to your session.

What hours are you open?

Our opening hours are below. Please note for team bookings we can accommodate out of normal hour bookings.

Is there parking?

There will be ample street parking on the weekends are afternoons. There is also a Wilson parking just next to the IGA if you are struggling to find a park. Please keep the 3 parking spots at the front available for our physio patients.

Do I need to book online?

Yes please all bookings need to be made online. You can book online through this link

Please note if you do not book an appointment and come into the centre there may not be enough space for you for a session.

I need to reschedule, what do I do?

Either through the confirmation email you received when booking, or log in to your account online here and click the reschedule tab

Please note there is cancellation fees for your appointment if you dont reschedule in time.

What are your memberships?

We have a range of memberships to suit your recovery needs

Once per week for $35 (1 x 60 minute session)

Unlimited recovery per week $49

2 weeks upfront on all memberships as well as a 2-week cancellation policy

Do you do team packages?

Yes we do team packages. You can book your team in outside of our specific hours here.

How do I sign up as a member?

Do you have contracts on your memberships?

We don’t have any lock in contracts. We do have a 2-week upfront payment- all through our easy online booking system. We also have a 2-week cancellation policy so as soon as you want to cancel, let us know and it will stop direct debit in 2 weeks time.

What else do you offer?

We offer breathing courses, information on best sleep practices, recovery supplements, recovery eBooks and physiotherapy!

Its my first recovery session, what should I do?

We recommend at least 60- 90 minutes for your first session. Within that to rotate through all the services we have on offer. 30 minutes in the normatec boots, followed by the infrared sauna for 30 minutes then finish on the hot and cold pools. You can also grab a theragun for any tight and sore muscles afterwards!

How long do I spend in each service?

We recommend 30 minute time allocations to each service we offer. This allows adequate time for the modality to work, as well as time to change clothes etc.

Is there someone to use the Theragun on me?

Unfortunately due to covid19 we have stopped using the theragun on clients. It is now just a self-use massage therapy.

How often should I come in?

It all depends on your training load. The higher the training load then the more recovery you should be doing. You don’t grow when you train, you grow when you rest and recover!

All team sport athletes we recommended at least 1-2 times per week (post game on Sunday or Monday and then a prep for the weekend on Friday night. A great way to bond with the team as an added bonus!
